Heather is a native of Fairbank, Iowa and relocated to Columbia, SC in 2003. She attended the University of Iowa and obtained a degree in Sociology, followed by a Science degree at the University of Northern Iowa. Heather earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in 2001 and then relocated to the southeast to pursue her career in physical therapy. Excel Physical Therapy, LLC was founded by Heather and her husband Kyle Reeves in 2011. Heather’s specialty has always been treating patients in the orthopedic realm. She has specialized in various manual techniques that she has learned from many continuing education courses to address patient mobility impairments before and after surgery. Kyle, Heather’s husband, is the lead teacher of the LAW Magnet program. They share 2 beautiful children, Olivia and Kade and their dogs Rosie and Remy. The Reeves family enjoys traveling to the Caribbean, trips to Iowa to visit family, Disney and anything involving Iowa Hawkeye or South Carolina sporting events. Golf, tennis and swimming as well as baseball occupy most of their spare time as well. They reside in Northeast Columbia in the Spring Valley neighborhood.
